He is bewitched by her youth and fearlessness;she is drawn to his magic and charm. But soon the Maiden must learn to embrace life’s uncertainty. And Death has stepped too far into her world. Schubert’s string quartet Death & the Maiden played by the world-renowned Brodsky Quartet soars under the forest’s canopy as Death and the Maiden discover that life and death are inseparable and full of surprises.
